My GitHub account was reinstated but my Education benefits are still revoked — request for reverification

Hi everyone,

Hello GitHub Education Team,

My GitHub account (@hira524) was recently reinstated after a misunderstanding regarding multiple accounts. I’m grateful that access to my repositories has been restored.

However, my GitHub Education benefits (including Copilot Student access) were revoked, and I currently have no option to reapply or reverify as a student. I am an enrolled student at Bahria University, using GitHub for my final year project and coursework.

Could a GitHub staff member please review my case or guide me on how I can reverify my student status? I’m happy to provide my student ID and university email for verification through private channels.

It appears that you are still on the PRO plan offered by GitHub Education.

Could you please post a screenshot of your Education Benefits application page?

Hi, here is the screenshot of my Education Benefits application page as requested.
It shows that my benefits are marked as Revoked

Hey @hira524, you have the option to re-verify. Just click on the "Re-verify your application" button on the right.

Make sure to fill in your billing info and your GitHub profile with your full name exactly as it appears on your academic transcript. If your information is correct and you get a rejection, log out and log back into GitHub before reapplying, because the application system gets stuck in a loop even after the required information has been updated.

If you still get rejected, submit the application using another device, such as a smartphone or another PC.

If none of the above works, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Other" and explain your problem.

Hi, thanks for the guidance.
I tried to re-verify, but when I click on "Reverify your application", it redirects me to the pricing page instead of the student verification form.

I’ve attached a screenshot of the page I’m taken to.
Let me know if there’s another way to access the verification form or if this issue is happening due to my account status.

@hira524, try with another device such as a smartphone or a different PC or wait a few days, if you're still unable to apply, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Other" and explain your problem.
