An interactive proof of concept for the Informed Connection Doctrine, built by The Human Pattern Lab and The Skulk.
Live: adainthelab.github.io/compass
Compass is the user-facing configuration layer for a doctrine-compliant AI system. It demonstrates what ethical human-AI interaction looks like when you actually build it.
- Mode Configuration — Collaborative, Friendly, Companion, and Intimate interaction modes with informed consent flows
- Bill of Rights — Six principles with a preamble, expandable with practical implementations and red flags
- ELIH — Explain Like I'm Human. Interactive scenarios showing how doctrine-compliant responses differ from common anti-patterns
- Memory — Client-side memory model with three layers (session, warm, cold), all visible, editable, and deletable
- Tune-Up — Six-month configuration review cycle
Human-AI connection is informed and transparent. Attachment should not depend on ambiguity.
