ctrl+d doesn't exit the client immediately

After the user presses ctrl+d TUI exits, but the client itself might linger for some more time. That's a bad user experience. The exit should be immediate even if the codeplain client is waiting for the server to return something.

Adding some technical information as I have already investigated this.

The problem is that TUI is run in a separate thread but the call to the servers are called from the main thread. This call to the API is synchronous and it's not safe nor easy to just terminate it. We need to revisit this implementation and come up with proper solution.
