[bug] automatic updates not installing #1961

Describe the bug
When a new version arrives, Superset downloads the update. And then I click the install button seen in the screenshot, then Superset closes, creating the expectation that it will install the update, but even after waiting for a long time, nothing happens. When I reopen Superset, I encounter the same update dialog again. For every new version I end up downloading the .dmg file and installing it manually and overwriting the old installation.
